Her Name is Ashley
"For this my daughter was dead and is alive again;she was lost and is found."Luke 15:24

Last Friday was one of those days. The ones where you are up to something and God plans to interrupt and encourage, as well as remind us of who is in control. As I was leaving the municipal courthouse in Camden, from a very important meeting with a judge (thank you Lord for going before me and your favor), I hear someone call my name. Divine appointment! The young woman, who was standing with her mother at the time, threw her arms around me and began to cry. She is a young woman many of you have been praying for for a few years. The last time we saw her, to be very honest, it didn't seem like she was going to make it. But, God, being rich in mercy looked down on her helpless state and a short time later she was arrested. Facing significant jail time, she was given the opportunity to enter a program. As of last friday, she celebrated nine months clean. She is so grateful for where she is today. She is living in a safe environment and working. We hugged, smiled and joined hands and prayed, yes, right outside the Mayor's office at city hall. Her parents have been raising her children and, of course, are overjoyed to see their daughters life being redeemed and restored. Yes, there is a long way to go, but by the grace of God she is experiencing life free from the chains that held her. Would you join us in praying for her continued inner strength and renewal? She has agreed to share her story in the near future, but in the meantime would you continue to pray for God to do? He can take back and set those lives free one at a time. It is always for His glory and by His power alone. Pray that we will continue to soldier for these precious gems and that God will continue to guide us, protect us, provide for us and encourage us in the way that only He can. We love you guys. Prayer warriors keep on interceding...we can do nothing without your prayers.
